Schedule your free introductory call here

During this call, we will briefly discuss your current situation and how we can adapt or optimize your dog's or cat's diet to improve their health from within.

Every animal is different. Therefore, nutritional advice at Paws and Plans is not based on trends or brands, but on what your pet specifically needs.

Nutrition forms an important basis for the health of your dog or cat. If this basis is not tailored to the individual animal, deficiencies will arise over time, and the risk of (chronic) conditions will significantly increase. By preventively providing a good, customized, and balanced diet, we can greatly improve their quality of life. I will help you critically analyze and compare different foods so that we can choose the options that best suit your pet's needs.

    When is nutritional advice useful?

It is important to always look at which food is best suited for your pet, because by making conscious and well-founded choices, we can positively influence their quality of life and lifespan.

If you recognize yourself in one or more of the following situations, I recommend scheduling a free introductory meeting:

    • You doubt whether the current food truly suits its age and life stage

    • You want to look beyond what is written on the packaging

    • You only buy food based on the age category and/or breed on the packaging

    • You give food that the vet or breeder said was suitable, without knowing why

    • You give food purely because you heard it's a good or well-known brand

    • You give expensive kibble, assuming it will be suitable for your pet

    • You want to optimally support your puppy or kitten during its crucial growth phase

    • You want to make your senior's golden years as comfortable as possible

    • Your animal is healthy, but you want to ensure that the food you are currently giving does not have a detrimental effect

You can schedule a call at the bottom of this page.

When is nutritional advice less suitable?

It is always good to thoroughly analyze your animal's diet so that it can potentially be optimized to support your dog's long-term health.

Not sure where your situation fits? Then a short, free, call with me can help clarify things.

    Who am I?

I am Emily, a veterinary nurse specialized in nutrition. During the 3 years I have worked in practice, I have noticed that many veterinarians have little time and often insufficient knowledge to give truly good nutritional advice. They often work with one or more fixed brands, but do not always look at the individual animal. I find that extremely unfortunate, as a food can be suitable for one animal, but not for another. That is why I chose to specialize in nutrition from the start, and I am currently also pursuing an in-depth training as an holistic nutritionist.

In my nutritional advice, I combine scientific knowledge and practical experience with a holistic view of nutrition and well-being. Every advice is based on the specific animal, not on specific brands and commissions.

    How do I work?

Every nutritional advice is tailor-made. Therefore, I do not work with fixed schemes or standard plans, but I look at the needs of your dog or cat.

Broadly speaking, support looks like this:

    1. Introduction - We always start with a free and no-obligation introductory meeting. In this, we jointly assess whether nutritional advice is useful in your situation and what your expectations are.

    2. Analysis - For further guidance, an extensive analysis of the current diet, lifestyle, and any points of attention follows. This gives me a complete picture of your dog or cat.

    3. Personalized advice - You will receive nutritional advice tailored to your dog/cat, its life stage, and your daily reality. A nutrition plan consists of advice on, among other things, diet, supplements, and lifestyle. Practical, feasible, and substantiated.

    4. Follow-up and adjustment - Where necessary, there will be follow-up and adjustment. No fixed obligations, but personalized guidance.

    What are the rates?

The investment in nutritional advice depends on your animal's life stage and the level of guidance required. I work with customized trajectories, tailored to what your dog or cat needs and what is feasible for you. Profound advice can start from 130 euros.

During the introductory meeting, we always transparently discuss what makes sense for you, without obligation. If you have any questions or doubts, you can always send me an email at info@pawsandplans.com or call +32497081763. Book your free call below.
